Waterford Crystal is again being manufactured in Waterford with the opening of the House of Waterford Crystal, a new visitor and manufacturing centre in the city centre.

Up to 100 people will be employed in the facility, some in the manufacture of high-end pieces of crystal using traditional methods. It is anticipated  that the centre will produce 40,000 items per year.
