The River Centre in St. Paul will again be the venue on Saturday, September 25, for the 10th Annual Irish Dance, Music and Arts Competition.
A "feis" is an Irish dance and music competition where amateur dancers and musicians compete both individually and in small teams before national and international adjudicators. The scores reflect the competitors proficiency in various categories based on their age and proficiency and provide them feedback that will help them grow in their skills. The dancers and musicians range in age from five years-old to adult. Their skills range from "first feis" beginners to championship level. The event is open to the public to enjoy the day watching the dancing, listening to the music and shopping at a wide variety of vendors. If you enjoy Irish dancing is an event that you don't want to miss.
